Information we collect

Calculator inputs, including any postcode you enter, are processed in your browser to produce the figures shown on the page. They are not stored against your identity.

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which pages are useful. This records technical information such as approximate location, device type, referring page and pages viewed. It is not used to identify you.

If you send us a message through the contact page, we hold your message and your email address so that we can reply.

Why we collect it

To keep the site working, understand which information people find useful, and respond to corrections and enquiries.

We do not sell personal information and we do not run advertising networks on the site.

How long it is kept

Analytics data is retained according to the standard Google Analytics retention period. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting correction.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Contact us and we will respond.

You can block analytics cookies in your browser at any time. The site works without them.
