Where our data comes from

energy.org.uk publishes no data of its own. Everything here comes from the organisations that run and regulate Britain's energy system, retrieved directly from their published feeds. This page lists each dataset, what it is used for and how often it updates. How the figures are combined is set out on the methodology page.

Elexon (BMRS)

Elexon runs the settlement of the Great Britain electricity market and publishes the operational data behind it.
