The Boiler Upgrade Scheme currently gives £7,500 towards an air source heat pump in England and Wales. MCS gives an average installed cost of about £13,300 for an air source heat pump in 2025, before the grant. Homes and systems differ, so this does not tell you whether a quote is fair, or whether the design is right.
